The film unfolds over two days in the life of Aashik, a young activist in the Marxist party’s youth wing in Kerala. He and his comrades navigate a world increasingly defined by war, inequality, and political disillusionment—forces that steadily erode Aashik’s mental well-being. Though his personal life offers him little comfort or joy, he remains unwavering in his commitment to political struggle, channeling his turmoil into activism. As tensions escalate and hope feels distant, the film culminates in a powerful final sequence: civil society flooding the streets, united in resistance and demanding a more just future. In this convergence of collective anger and collective hope, Aashik’s world finds the possibility of renewal.
